About me

When I was asked in a job interview once, “What is your core value?”, I said, without hesitation: “Having fun.” I didn’t mean just any kind of fun. I meant the joy that comes from noticing beauty in the small things, finding light in the everyday, and appreciating the quiet in-between moments.

That same mindset shapes how I photograph. Whether I’m documenting a wedding, a newborn yawn, or a family at home, I’m always looking for the honest, joy-filled moments that make life feel rich and real.

Sunhee Stills is named after my grandmother, who’s always been a quiet, steady presence in my life. Her warmth and the way she noticed beauty in everyday things continue to inspire how I see the world and how I photograph it. I like to keep things simple and unhurried, creating space for moments to unfold naturally. Before each session, I’ll guide you through what to expect, and during the shoot, I focus on keeping things light, comfortable, and true to you.

Based in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, I photograph weddings, maternity, newborn, and family sessions across Sydney and beyond. My approach is gentle and relaxed, led by emotion, light, and the rhythm of the day. I don’t believe in forced poses, just honest connection and thoughtful storytelling. If you’re after photos that feel as real as your memories, I’d love to work with you.
